Nurse Review FAQs

_1.) How many nurses work for Record Express?
_Record Express has a pool of 86 nurses with both practical nursing histories and legal nurse review experience. Record _Express nurse consultants are active RNs with a wide variety of clinical experience who know and understand the _complexities of the medical system. Most of our RN's have either a Bachelors or Masters degree in Nursing, although _some have doctorate degrees.

_2.) What is a “summary” or “chronology”?
_Our legal nurse consultants will promptly prepare a tailored, clear and concise medical analysis work-product. Our _nurses will review and summarize the medical records creating excerpts that contain relevant, brief, focused _information selected from the full record. The comments field will include information about the number of offices _visits, first/last dates of treatment, and other relevant information as directed by Counsel or Claims Representative _allowing you to authoritatively address any strengths or weaknesses and not be caught off guard.

_3.) Can I request specific information be included in the Nurse work product?
_To ensure that the nurse work product meets the purposes of each customer, Record Express may request further _written instructions in the following areas:
  • Identification of key document types and health care services.
  • Specific red flags to identify in the review.
  • Use of a single date versus a date range per chronology entry (i.e. summarize several chiropractic visits in one entry, versus a separate entry for each visit).
  • Specific information to be provided in the comments field, such as total visits, range of dates of treatment, etc.
_4.) Can you give me an estimate of how long it will take for an LNC to review a set of records?
_Each project varies in scope, complexity and length of medical record to be reviewed, so it is difficult to estimate the _time for review without more information. Our legal nurse consultants will decipher medical records and identify medical _issues more accurately and effectively in a fraction of the time taken by non-medical personnel. Our legal nurse _consultants preparing the medical analysis allows you to spend time in your area of expertise and on full development _of the case.

_5.) Who do I contact if I have questions about nurse review?
_Contact info@recordexpressllc.com, or call us toll free at: 1(866) 734-2999.
